Ferro Silicon Magnesium Description
Ferro Silicon Magnesium is an alloy composed by melting ferrosilicon, calcium, magnesium, rare earth, etc. It is an excellent spheroidizing agent with strong deoxidation and desulfurization effects. Ferrosilicon, rare earth ore and magnesium metal are the main raw materials for the production of rare earth magnesium ferrosilicon. The production of rare earth magnesium ferrosilicon alloy is carried out in an arc furnace. The furnace consumes a lot of electricity and can also be manufactured using an intermediate frequency furnace.
